The West Ohio Food Bank is asking Kenton residents to make a monetary donation to help feed senior citizens who are facing hunger.
The organization featured a woman named Ann who, after losing her husband and best friend of 48 years, has no one.
She’s worried because the cost of food, housing and medicine has risen so dramatically that her retirement income no longer covers even basic needs and for the first time in her life she’s facing these challenges alone.
Monetary donations will help her and other senior neighbors in the 11-county area, which includes Hardin, who are living with the pain and uncertainty of hunger.
Every $10 you give helps provide up to 50 meals to someone experiencing hunger.
