First place in the Western Buckeye League will be on the line Friday when the Kenton Wildcats host the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans. The Titans are 7-1 overall and are alone atop the WBL with a 7-0 league mark. The Wildcats are 6-2 overall and 6-1 in league play and can move into a first-place tie with a win over the Titans at Robinson Field. Kenton’s defense was too much for Shawnee as the Wildcats blanked the Indians 28-0 in Western Buckeye League play Friday at Robinson Field. The Indians (3-5 overall, 2-5 WBL) were held to 107 yards of offense. Kenton’s defense forced five three-and-outs, held the Indians to 2-of-11 on third-down tries and caused three turnovers.
