Kenton’s defense was too much for Shawnee as the Wildcats blanked the Indians 28-0 in Western Buckeye League play Friday at Robinson Field. The Indians (3-5 overall, 2-5 WBL) were held to 107 yards of offense. Kenton’s defense forced five three-and-outs, held the Indians to 2-of-11 on third-down tries and caused three turnovers. Norman J. The Kenton City Council Held a Meeting on Monday Night

During new business an ordinance was brought up that allowed for $1,755 for new police equipment and $20,000 for City Hall labor relations as well as $7,000 for street maintenance of equipment.
