Kenton finished their regular season with a 4-1 win over Lima Senior at home. Lilly Carmean downed Ali Weber 6-1, 6-1. Amanda Van Horn fell to Makayla Rader 3-6, 0-6. Presley Wilson won by forfeit. Both of Kenton's doubles teams had success. Marissa Fox and Lydia Lambert were 6-0, 6-0 winners. McKenna Stanforth and Katelyn Stevenson won 6-0, 1-6, 6-1. Kenton will be in action on October 3 at UNOH for Div. II Sectionals.

Presley Wilson had a quick start over Shawnee's Alivia Mack and won 8-2 for fifth place in third singles. Lilly Carmean kept it close with Elida's Emma Stauffer before falling 4-8, in first singles for eighth place. Kenton finished ninth in the WBL standings. Kenton returns home for their final regular season match on Monday, September 30, at 4:30 pm against Lima Senior. Sectional tournament play begins on Thursday, October 3, at 9:00 am at UNOH, Lima.
