Kenton welcomed Eastwood for exciting home opener

Kenton high school football opened the season hosting Eastwood. The Wildcats opened the scoring on a 72 yard TD drive then Eastwood answered with 31 straight points. Kenton would find the endzone once more to head to halftime down 14-31. Kenton 8th grade Volleyball falls to St. Marys Memorial 2 – 0

In set 1, the Wildcats were able to knot the score at 14, but St. Marys went on a serving run and closed out the game 16-25. After a hard fought but scoreless first half, the Kenton Wildcat Girls Soccer Team found the back of the net twice to beat Bellefontaine, 2-1. Kenton's second doubles team of Marissa Fox and Katie Lowe won a thrilling 3 set match with a scores of 6-3,4-6, 7-5.  The first doubles team of Lydia Lambert and McKenna Stanforth had a close match, but eventually lost 4-6,3-6.   Presley Wilson, third singles, upped her record to 2-1 with a 6-3, 6-2 win over her opponent.  Amanda Van Horn fell 0-6,1-6 at second singles. Kenton Boys Varsity Golf beats Elida 168 – 176

Kenton boys pick up WBL win against Elida.  Landon Plaugher was overall medalist carding a (38) and Dawson Miller followed up with a (39), Oliver Sneary (45), Austin Root (46), Jack Whitmer 46 and Thomas Mustain 49. Kenton boys JV team also defeated a three player Elida JV team.  153 - 168 Ethan McNamara lead the scores with a (47), followed by Brady Cole (53), Hudson Latimore (53) and Cale Harshfield 55.
