Kenton Girl’s Track finished 5th Place at Celina Invite

The girls' team began their season by taking 5th place out of 8 teams at the Celina Invite. Notably, they outperformed Elida, Ottoville, and Decatur Bellmont. Delaney Buxton secured 3rd place in Pole Vault, while Addi Manns achieved the same position in the 3200-meter race. Additionally, both the 4x4 and 4x8 relay teams captured 3rd place. The Kenton boys kicked off their first meet on Saturday with strong competition. Among eight teams, they secured a respectable 6th place, surpassing Elida and Decatur Bellmont. Notably, Carson Delong showcased remarkable resilience, having recently recovered from knee surgery, and secured 3rd place in the 100-meter dash along with a 4th place finish in long jump.
