Rams take down Wildcats

Tuesday evening, Kenton welcomed Upper Sandusky to town for a girls basketball tilt. The Rams lead for most of the game but the cats battled back to make it a one point game late in the 4th quarter. Kenton Boys 8th Basketball beats Celina Senior 44 – 25

Kenton 8th grade boys basketball played their best half of the year building a 31-4 lead before coasting to a 44-25 victory. It was the boys 6th straight win. Leading the Wildcats was Maddux McFarlin with 13 points. He was followed by Luke Haugendobler with 10 points shooting a perfect 4-4- from the floor. The Kenton Wildcats took on a very strong St Marys team that built a lead after the 1st individual games and never gave Kenton a chance to get back into the game, losing 1680 - 2461. The Kenton Wildcats fell behind St Marys after the 1st individual games by 75 pins, 824 - 899.  Even though Kenton came back with a 911 2nd individual games, St Marys rolled a 1012 to extend their lead.  The lead was too much for the Wildcats to overcome as they lost to the Roughriders 2447 - 2748.
