Kenton Boys 8th Basketball beats St. Marys Memorial 36 – 31

The 8th grade Kenton boys basketball team won their 4th straight game raising their record to 7-5 beating St Mary's 36-31 at St Mary's.  Isaac Anderson led the Wildcats with 13 points followed by Maddux McFarlin with 12. McFarlin led the team with 8 rebounds, Anderson added 5 and Hudson Latimore had 4. Latimore had 3 assists, and McFarlin 2. Luke Haugendobler and McFarlin both had 3 forced turnovers, while Latimore and Anderson each forced 2.

Kenton Boys Varsity Bowling falls to Van Wert 2875 – 2578

The Kenton Wildcats saw their unbeaten streak snapped last night versus Van Wert.  The cougars jumped out to a 97 pin lead after the 1st individual games.  Kenton bowled a much better 2nd individual games but was not ablt to cut into Van Wert's lead.  Van Wert increased their lead during the baker games to defeat Kenton 2578 - 2875. Kenton Girls Varsity Bowling falls to Van Wert 1998 – 1605

The Wildcats bowled against a strong Van Wert team last night.  Kenton fell behind 122 pins after the 1st individual games.  The 2nd individual games wasn't much better, as the cougars extended their lead to 274 pins. The Wildcats bowled much better during the bakers, winning 3 of the 5 games, to finish the match 1686 - 1998. Mackenzie Kugel led Kenton with a 267 series (149 - 118).
