Kenton Boys Varsity Bowling Keeps Rolling. Defeats Fostoria 1998 – 1761

The Kenton Wildcats jumped to a 150 pin lead after the 1st individual games behind Spencer Anglemyer's 205 and Sam Taylor's 193 games.  They continued to extend their lead with Eban Albert rolling a 204 in the 2nd individual games.  The Wildcats gave back some pins in the bakers but won the match 1998 - 1761. Spencer Anglemyer also had the high series 368. The boys teams travel to Miller City Thursday.

Kenton Girls Varsity Bowling falls to Fostoria 1818 – 1466

The Lady Wildcats traveled to Fostoria and had 4 girls roll their high game of the season but it wasn't enough as the Redman defeated Kenton 1466 - 1818. Karyn Hopkins led the Wildcats with a 170 high game and 318 high series.  Mackenzie Kugel rolled a 301 series (168 - 133). Kenton Girls 8th Basketball beats Wapakoneta 34 – 24

The Lady Cats came from behind to win a tough game against Wapak. They picked up the defensive intensity after halftime and held Wapak to 4 points in the second half. Scoring for the Cats was Kaylee Barlow with 13, Lyla Gammon with 10, Jadynn Byers with 6 and Brylee Bostelman with 5. Their next game is Thursday at home against Shawnee!

Connie D. Smith, 84 of Columbus and formerly of Kenton passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. She was born in Kenton, Ohio on February 13, 1939.  Connie married Ronald Smith and he preceded her in death. Girls Varsity Bowling falls to Parkway 1776 – 1529

The Lady Wildcats took a 20 pin lead after the 1st individual games but could not keep the momentum going as they fell to the Parkway Panthers 1529 - 1776. Shyan Cherry lead the Wildcats with a 179 high game and 275 high series.  Lylli Tillman added a 122, Brittany Beamer a 111, and Mackenzie Kugel a 107. Kenton travels to Fostoria Tuesday.

Boys Varsity Bowling continues winning ways with defeat of Parkway 2655 – 2121

The Kenton Wildcats jumped out to a 186 pin lead after the 1st individual games, increased it to 318 pins after the 2nd set of individual games and continued  improving on their lead during the baker games to finish with a 2655 - 2121 victory over the Parkway Panthers.
