Benjamin Logan Local School District Bellefontaine, Ohio — Benjamin Logan High School’s instrumental music program participated in the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) Solo & Ensemble Adjudicated Events held this past the weekend, continuing a tradition of strong performances. Student musicians earned 14 Superior ratings (1s) and four Excellent ratings (2s). Hardin County – The 2026 Hardin County Poultry Banquet will be held on Saturday, March 28 at Missionary Alliance Church located at 15436 OH-309, Kenton, OH 43326. Hardin Northern 10th Graders Partner with Kindergarten for Presidents’ Day Project

Hardin Northern Local School District The Hardin Northern 10th grade American History classes teamed up with the kindergarten classes for a Presidents’ Day project. Sophomore students picked an American president to research and create a slideshow to share with 1 or 2 kindergarten partners. As part of the lesson, the students worked together to design and draw a sweatshirt representing their president. It was a great experience for the students as they enjoyed learning and creating together.

Indian Lake Yacht Club to Host Inland 20 Championship Regatta

The Indian Lake Yacht Club will be hosting an Inland 20, or I20, championship regatta September 25 through the 27. The championship regatta helps celebrate the Yacht Club's new clubhouse after a devasting tornado wiped out the previous buildings. The Inland 20 is designed for a two-person crew. Mark Hilton, 53, of Mt. Victory, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at St. Rita's Hospital in Lima. He was born on June 19, 1972, in Fremont, Ohio, to the late Jerry Hilton and Linda Reed. On June 12, 1998, he married Kerry (Chaffin) Hilton, who survives in Mt. Victory. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his best friend, Jeremy Durnwald of Fremont. BKP Ambulance District is offering CPR classes to the public. American Heart Association Heartsaver and First Aid Class will be held on April 11. Washington, D.C.– The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) this week announced the enrollment periods for agricultural producers and landowners to submit offers for the Continuous and General Conservation Reserve Program (CRP).
