Ohio School Safety Center expands access to life-saving training with STOP THE BLEED® Educational License

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – The Ohio Department of Public Safety’s (ODPS) Ohio School Safety Center (OSSC) has expanded its life-saving training capability by partnering with a national campaign called STOP THE BLEED® that encourages bystanders to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. Findlay Police Department Swears in Two New Officers

The Findlay Police Department announced the hiring of two new police officers. Maddison Manson and Ethan Gruhler were officially sworn in Monday morning by Mayor Christina Muryn. Officer Manson, 21, is a graduate of the University of Toledo, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Officer Gruhler, 21, also graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Both officers will be assigned to the department’s Patrol Division.
