Findlay VFW Post #5645 Donates $10,000 to Riverdale Schools

Photo: Riverdale Local Schools The Findlay VFW Post #5645 donated checks totaling $10,000 to Riverdale Schools. The donation will be used to stock the Riverdale Food Pantry, to support students in need of clothes and school supplies, and to pay down outstanding cafeteria balances. Riverdale student Lilly Hilvers and Assistant Principal Nate Sorg received the checks from Findlay VFW Post representative Larraine McCahan at the school on Monday.

Busy Monday for Kenton Police: Two Accidents, Theft and Assault Reported

Monday was a busy day for officers from the Kenton Police Department. According to information on the department's Daily Log Sheet, there were two accidents reported. Hardin County Annual ARC Auction Raises Over $8,000

The annual ARC auction was held this past weekend and raised money for a great cause. The auction was held on Sunday at Simon Kenton School and all proceeds go to the Hardin County ARC, helping provide extra activities and support for children and adults eligible through Hardin County DD.
