Hardin County Players to Present Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr.

The Hardin County Players Children's Summer Theater Workshop will present Disney's The Little Mermaid, Jr. on June 12 and 13 at the Kenton Middle/High School Performing Arts Center. Performances are scheduled for Friday, June 12, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 13, at 5 p.m. The Performing Arts Center is located at 751 Wildcat Way in Kenton. Admission is $10 at the door for adults ages 18 and older. Admission is free for those 18 and under.

Lane Restrictions on I-75 in Allen County Set for Wednesday

The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced a lane restriction on Interstate 75 in Allen County starting tomorrow. Interstate 75 in both directions between Breese Road and State Route 65 near the 122-mile marker will be restricted to the right lane on Wednesday, June 3, for approximately one day. The restriction is needed for guardrail repairs in the median. Motorists traveling through the area should expect traffic to be limited to a single lane while crews complete the work.

Governor DeWine Names Benjamin Suver as Interim Director of the Ohio Department of Public Safety

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Governor Mike DeWine yesterday announced that he will name Ohio Department of Public Safety Assistant Director Benjamin Suver to be the interim director of the Ohio Department of Public Safety. Federal Grants Available to Combat Violence against Women

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – The Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS) today released a request for proposal for federal grants intended to combat violence against women. The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) provides funding to victim services providers and law enforcement, prosecution, and courts throughout Ohio. The VAWA program assists local governments and non-profit community-based organizations in administering justice for and strengthening services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Morrow County Sheriffs Office, Mt. Gilead Ohio The Morrow County Sheriff's Office is holding a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast on June 6. Kenton City Schools Offering Free Summer Meals for Children

Screenshot Kenton City Schools, in partnership with the USDA Summer Nutrition Programs for Kids (SUN Meals), is providing free summer meals for children ages 1-18 throughout the summer.
