One Injured in U.S. 33 Rollover Crash in Union County

A Columbus man was cited after an injury crash on US 33, near the State Route 4 and US 36 exit ramp, in Union County at around 8:45 Wednesday night. According to the Daily Media report from the Union County Sheriff's Office, 56-year-old Brian Napper lost control of the vehicle, and it ended up off the road. Hardin County Sheriff's Department-Inmate Roster A felony pursuit that started in Lima Wednesday morning ended with the arrest of the suspect later that day. According to information from Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart, deputies assisted in the pursuit starting around 10:15am yesterday. Community Organizations Invited to Participate in Tree Town Parade

Groups, businesses, clubs, bands, or organizations that are looking to be part of one of the largest summer parades in the area are invited to participate in the Tree Town Festival Parade in Forest. Email treetownfestival@hotmail.com to register. The parade is Friday, July 10 with line up at 5:30pm, and it is set to start at 6:30. The Tree Town Festival runs July 10th-12th at Gormley Park in Forest.

Revitalize Kenton Family Fun Day Set for June 6

Revitalize Kenton: a community partnership Revitalize Kenton's Family Fun Day is a little over a week away. It will take place Saturday, June 6 from 11am until 3pm at the Kenton Shopping Plaza, located at 981 East Columbus Street. The Village of Alger Village of Alger's Spring Clean-Up Day is Saturday, June 20. It will take place from 9am until noon at the village garage. Items that will be accepted are household junk and general clean-up items, and unwanted items from garages, sheds, and yards. They will not accept tires, batteries, paint, pre-construction wood, hazardous materials, trash or cement.
