An Ottawa, Ohio truck driver was cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead after a crash on U.S. 33 in Marysville Tuesday afternoon. Marysville Man Suffers Minor Injuries in US 33 Rear-End Crash

A Marysville man escaped with minor injuries in a crash that occurred on US 33 Tuesday morning. According to the report from the Marysville Police Department, 52-year-old Dale Johnson was stopped for traffic on 33 eastbound. 31-year-old Brandan Ross, of Lakeview, adjusted his hat because of the sun, and his vehicle struck the rear of Johnson's car. Bluffton University Coach to Present Civic Engagement Forum April 7

BLUFFTON, Ohio — Chris Scott, head track and field coach at Bluffton University, will present the Civic Engagement Day Forum, “Competition with My Neighbor: The Good and the Bad,” at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, in Yoder Recital Hall.  Scott will explore how competition shapes relationships before, during and after the game, and how love of neighbor can inform athletic engagement.  The Forum is free and open to the public.

Dunkirk Annual Easter Egg Hunt Scheduled for Saturday

The Dunkirk C.I.C. and community businesses are holding their annual Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, March 28. It will start at 2 p.m. at the Dunkirk Community Park. Age groups are 2 to 3, 4 to 6, 7 to 9 and 10 to 12 years old. Children under 2 will receive their eggs from the Easter Bunny. Lots of candy and prizes will be given away.
