City of Kenton Government The City of Kenton's Little Dribblers at Murray Park is taking place next week. This is a free basketball camp built for young players. It is scheduled for July 13-16 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Murray Park in Kenton. Registration is required by following a link on the City of Kenton Government Facebook page.
Hardin County Board of Developmental Disabilities / Simon Kenton School Hardin County Board of Developmental Disabilities/Simon Kenton School recognized three staff members for their work anniversaries in July. They are Developmental Specialist Sam McCullough on 4 years and Speech Therapist Brenda Logsdon on 8 years. Also, SSA Cheryl Rodriquez was recognized and thanked for her 36-year anniversary.
Hardin County Family YMCA. Some upgrades have been completed in the area around the sign of OhioHealth Physical Rehabilitation and Hardin County Family YMCA. They are located at 918 West Franklin Street in Kenton. The Hardin Community Foundation gave a grant that was used to help beautify around the sign. YMCA officials also thanked New Leaf Lawn and Garden Center who did the work.

The Municipal Building parking lot in Ada is closed from today through this Friday, July 10. It will be closed for a resurfacing and striping project. Motorists are advised to not park in the lot during that time. Village officials expressed their appreciation for your patience and cooperation as the improvements are completed.
One person was transported to the hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries after a crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Detroit and Espy Streets in Kenton.
