Ronald R. Shaffer, age 77, of Kenton passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. He was born on January 2, 1949, in Kenton, to the late Verland and Anna (Sloan) Shaffer. Registrations are still being accepted for the next Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance Ambassadors meeting on Wednesday June 3. Hardin Freedom Fest Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Central Ohio will host the 1st Annual Firecracker 5K on Saturday, June 27. The race starts at 9:30 that morning at Ada War Memorial Park.
