Hardin County Sheriff's Office The next Hardin County Coffee with the Sheriff event will be held on Friday, June 26. It will run from 9:00 until 10:30 that morning at the Bear's Den at the Plaza in Mt. Victory. Sheriff Keith Everhart and members of the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office will be in attendance. It is a chance to ask questions, express concerns or to offer a compliment. The coffee is compliments of the Sheriff.

Marion, Ohio Police Department The Marion Police Department announced the graduation of Major B.J. Gruber from the Public Safety Leadership Academy or PLSA. PLSA is an 11-week prestigious, advanced leadership opportunity for law enforcement leaders from around Ohio. The academy hosts qualifying officers from various police departments, sheriff's offices, and state agencies. Training focuses on leadership, ethics, public administration, community engagement, and managing contemporary policing challenges.

Hardin Northern's Board of Education will meet on Tuesday, June 23. Prior to the meeting, Hardin Northern will be seeking community feedback on the use of Federal Consolidated Title IA funds for the 2026-27 school year. The meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. at the school.
