High Wind Warning in Effect Until 8 PM for Hardin and Surrounding Counties

The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for the area until 8:00 tonight. Southwest winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour with gusts up to 60 miles an hour are expected. Damaging winds of that magnitude will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. The Hardin County Sheriff's Office reminds you that in case of an emergency, call or text 9-1-1.

Hardin Northern Local School District Hardin Northern's Spring 2026 Spirit Gear Store, which is a fundraiser for the Student Government, is now open. Each item purchased will provide funds for the school's student government to support specifically homecoming week and to help support the purchasing of their own DJ equipment. COLUMBUS – Trooper Kyle J. Baxter, Findlay District Crash Reconstruction, was promoted to the rank of sergeant on February 22 and was recognized yesterday by Colonel Charles A.
