Waynesfield Man Sentenced and Ada Woman Expected to Change Plea

A Waynesfield man was sentenced this week in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to Court records, 40-year-old Daniel Lee Boutwell was sentenced to 48 months in prison. The case dates to January of this year, and Boutwell was indicted on one count of felonious assault and two counts of domestic violence in February. Governor DeWine Announces Transportation Investments to Support Economic Development Projects

Hardin County Battle of the Badges Blood Drive Set for June 29

BKP Ambulance District The Battle of the Badges Blood Drive for the American Red Cross will take place June 29. It will be held in the BKP Training Room at 439 South Main Street in Kenton from 11am until 4pm. First responders will go head-to-head in a friendly competition to see who can bring in the most blood donations. All first responders, their families, friends, and community supporters are invited to donate blood and make a lifesaving impact.

Hardin County Dog Warden Announces New Hours

The Hardin County Dog Warden has new hours. They are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8am to 4pm, with extended hours on Wednesday until 6pm. Saturday and Sunday are by appointment only. You can visit them at 49 Jones Road to purchase dog tags and visit the adoptable dogs. Last Chance to Register for Big Brothers Big Sisters Firecracker 5K in Ada

The deadline to register for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Central Ohio Firecracker 5K is this Sunday June 21. The 1st Annual event will be held on Saturday, June 27. The race starts at 9:30 that morning at Ada War Memorial Park. Prizes will be awarded for first place in adult and youth categories.
