Lunch Tickets Return for 2026 Wyandot County Fair

Wyandot County Fair Lunch tickets will once again be available during the 2026 Wyandot County Fair. Lunch tickets are available from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Tickets may be purchased for $8, which allows you entry into the fair. If you return to the gate within 60 minutes from the time written on the ticket, you will receive a $5 refund. The 175th Wyandot County Fair will run from September 14-19 at the fairgrounds in Upper Sandusky.

Involuntary Manslaughter, Reckless Homicide Charges Dropped in Hardin County Plea Deal

A man changed his plea last week in Hardin County Common Pleas Court in exchange for more serious charges being dropped. 30-year-old Scott F. Bailey pleaded guilty to two counts of corrupting another with drugs, two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, and one count of aggravated possession of drugs. Service Notice for Bridget Laura (Healy) Moore

Bridget Laura (Healy) Moore 79of Kenton Bridget Laura (Healy) Moore went to be home with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Logan Acres Care Center. There will be no services for Bridget, as it was her wish to be cremated. Burial will take place at Grove Cemetery in Kenton at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Driver Charged With Vehicular Homicide Following Fatal Crash in Fulton County

Fayette – The Toledo Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on August 29, 2026, at approximately 4:13 P.M. The crash occurred on State Route 66 and County Road N in Gorham Township, Fulton County. Austin J. Hardin County Fair Reports Increase in Open Class Entries

Hardin County Fair officials announced that the total number of open class entries has exceeded last year’s total. The entries will be on display at the Hardin County Fair, which runs next week from September 8 through the 13. Hardin County Courthouse Entrance Receives Much-Needed Makeover

Several aesthetic improvements have been made on the south entrance of the Hardin County Courthouse in Kenton. Keep Hardin County Beautiful recently gave the entrance around the doors a much-needed facelift. The project was made possible through grants from Keep America Beautiful and the Hardin County Community Foundation. The southside doors are the primary entrance into the courthouse since a new security screening went into effect in February of this year.
