A two-vehicle crash occurred at around 9:10 Monday night on North Main at Eliza Street in Kenton. Hardin Northern Music Department Mum Fundraiser Underway

Hardin Northern Local School District Hardin Northern Music Department's Fall Mum Fundraiser is underway. Orders will taken now through September 4, and pick up will be September 14. Mums are $10 each, and you can see a band or choir student to place an order. All proceeds go to the Music Department to fund new uniforms, music, sending students to festivals, performance opportunites and more.

Raising Arrows Ohio in Bellefontaine has a family in need of bicycles. They are looking for a 12-inch boys bicycle with training wheels and 14-inch girls, 13-inch girls and 20-inch girls’ bicycles. Forest Police Department to Host Bicycle Registration Event

The Village of Forest Police Department will be hosting a bicycle registration event on Saturday, September 5 from noon until 3:00 pm at the rear of the police department, located at 211 Wet Lima Street in Forest.  This event will allow residents to register their bicycles, scooters, or e-bikes with the police department to assist in recovering the item should it be stolen or returning it should it be found unattended or abandoned. Hardin SWCD Conservation Contest Set for Hardin County Fair

Hardin SWCD Hardin Soil and Water Conservation District will host a Conservation Contest on the first day of the Hardin County Fair September 8. It will be held in the Community Building on the fairgrounds in Kenton. Sign-in will begin at 10 a.m., judging will start at 10:30, but special consideration will be given for participants who are showing livestock that day. Cash prizes will be awarded.
