Keep Hardin County Beautiful Thanks Local FFA Chapters for Dedication to Recycling at the Hardin County Fair

Several FFA chapters were thanked for helping an organization at the Hardin County Fair. Keep Hardin County Beautiful took time to thank the Ridgemont, Kenton, Hardin Northern and Ada FFA chapters. Each group took one morning and collected recyclables from the bins around the fairgrounds. Keep Hardin County Beautiful noted that they took time from their busy schedules to help out during the fair, and their hard work is appreciated.

Hardin County Fair Sees Largest Attendance Since 2019, Including Sold-Out Concert

The Hardin County Fair is excited to announce strong attendance numbers for the 2024 fair. “We know that Friday saw rainy conditions and forced us to cancel the evening’s main attraction, the tractor pull,” said President Brad Murphy. Students Soar High: Hardin Northern Rewards Great Test Scores with SkyZone Celebration

Over 60 Hardin Northern high school students got to attend SkyZone in Lima to celebrate their high achievements on their Spring tests. National Roundabouts Week Kicks Off: ODOT to Highlight Safety Benefits of Roundabouts

National Roundabouts Week will be observed today through Friday. According to the Federal Highway Administration, roundabouts can reduce injury and fatal crashes by an average of 82% at intersections where they are installed. The Ohio Department of Transportation District 1, which includes Hardin County, will share information throughout this week regarding the effectiveness of local roundabouts.
