University of Northwestern Ohio’s 104th Annual Commencement Ceremony to be Held on June 9th

Photo: University of Northwestern Ohio The University of Northwestern Ohio’s 104th annual commencement exercises will be held on Sunday, June 9th at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center in Lima.  A total of 742 graduates from the College of Applied Technologies, College of Business, College of Health Professions, College of Occupational Professions, and Graduate College will receive 919 diplomas and degrees.  142 students have earned two or more credentials. Kenton Girl’s Soccer Shoe Donation Fundraiser Will Continue Until July 14th

The Kenton Girl's Soccer shoe donation fundraiser will continue throughout the summer until July 14th.  There will be a drop off location/time this Friday, May 31st from 4pm-10pm at the Kenton High School practice soccer field.Collection boxes will be set by the tree in between the tennis courts and the field. Please bring any new or gently used shoes that you would like to donate.

Riverdale Falcons Ready to Take Flight at Track and Field State Tournaments in Dayton

Photo: Riverdale Falcons The Riverdale Falcons Track and Field State Qualifiers will be competing tomorrow and Friday at Welcome Stadium in Dayton.  The school has a multitude of state qualifiers that will compete in various events including discus, high jump, 4x800m relays for both boys and girls, 1600m run, 3200m run, and 400m dash.
