They have several pieces of Ohio wildlife woodcarvings made by master woodcarver Bob Holderman on exhibit in the lobby. The Ohio Department of Agriculture will be aerially spraying this summer to stop the spread of the spongy moth caterpillar. The spongy moth is a significant invasive forest pest that has moved west into Ohio from Pennsylvania and Michigan. Outgoing Hardin County Commissioner Roger Crowe will be recognized as the 2024 Hardin County Fair Honoree. Crowe was a 32-year member of the Kenton Fire Department where he retired with the rank of Captain. Most recently, he has served as a Hardin County Commissioner for the past eight years. Kenton City Schools 5th-8th Grade Band Spring Concert will be held on Tuesday, May 7th at 5:30pm at the Kenton Middle School Auditorium. The bands will perform in grade level order.
