12th Annual Kenton Cast Iron Toy Show to be Held at The Hardin County Historical Museums

Photo: The Hardin County Historical Museums The Hardin County Historical Museums has set the date for the 12th Annual Kenton Cast Iron Toy Show. You will be able to buy, sell and trade on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9 from 10:00am-3:00pm both days. The Hardin County Historical Museums is located at 223 North Main Street in Kenton. Questions will also be answered, and Kenton Toy Collection education will be imparted at the event. Admission is free.

Riverdale Girl’s Track Team Wins BVC Meet in Fostoria

The 2024 BVC Track and Field Championship was held on May 10, 2024 at Fostoria Memorial Stadium. This was their first BVC title in track. Lima Man Arrested After Stabbing Incident in Allen County

A Lima man was arrested after a stabbing incident in that city earlier this week. According to a release from the Allen County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the 1800 block of Lennox Avenue to investigate. When deputies arrived, the victim was already in route to the hospital, where they were treated and released. Tree Beautification Project a Success at Indian Lake State Park

Photo: Indian Lake State Park Honda, Keep Ohio Beautiful and Ohio Division of Natural Resources- Division of Forestry participated in a tree planting event held at Indian Lake State Park. 25 trees were planted Saturday on C-area campsites and one tree was planted near the nature center to commemorate their 75th anniversary.  The park volunteers will water them throughout the summer so that they can grow and flourish.

Ohio Northern University Students Showcase Entrepreneurial Spirit at Polar Innovation Exchange Competition

Ohio Northern University had 71 teams showcase their entrepreneurial spirit in this semester’s Polar Innovation Exchange elevator pitch competition held recently. Student-led groups created a unique product for the marketplace and pitched it in under two minutes followed by a two-minute question session. Professor Kevin M. Market on Main is a local farmer’s market that is held in Downtown Kenton. It is held on the second Saturday of each month between May and September from 9:00am until noon.
