The Hardin County Historical Museums announced that they will be closed for the week of the Hardin County Fair. They will be closed September 3rd through September 8th. You can visit the Hardin County Historical Museums at the fair in their booth located in the Community Building.

Hardin County 4-H is reminding all livestock, horse, and dog exhibitors that they should have received an email on Monday, August 26th with details for their department, weigh-in and shows. The email was sent to the email address used when signing up for 4-H and the fair.  If you did not receive an email, you can find the details for each species on the Livestock Hub website.

A Drug Overdose Awareness event is being held this Friday, August 30th from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the Courthouse Square in Kenton. The ‘In Memory, We Chalk’ event is to memorialize a loved one who lost their life from an overdose and to help spread awareness in the community on this growing concern.
