According to a press release from Kenton High School Athletic Director Brett Purcell, Coach Brent Fackler has announced that he is stepping down as Head Football Coach at Kenton High School. Coach Fackler has been a staple on the Kenton Football sideline for the past 36 seasons. He came to Kenton in 1985 to serve as the Defensive Coordinator under then Head Coach Mike Mauk. Commissioners Hold April 15th Meeting

The Hardin County Commissioners met on April 15th. They heard from the County engineer who had new county maps printed at a cost of $4 each. The Commissioners voted and approved to charge $2 each with cost going into the tax map office funds. They also heard from Sharon Huston, Hardin Hills Administrator. Hardin Northern Schools are asking for donations to help Ms. Ashlyn DeLong who is a first grade teacher at Hardin Northern. According to a post on Hardin Northern's Facebook Page, Ashlyn is a dedicated educator who has worked this entire year during Covid, doing in person instruction, while being pregnant with her first child.
