A Kenton woman was injured Wednesday morning in downtown Kenton. The AEP Ohio Neighbor to Neighbor Program is now accepting applications for utility assistance grants for the 2020-2021 winter heating season. Through a partnership between AEP Ohio, an American Electric Power (NYSE: AEP) company, and Dollar Energy Fund, the Neighbor to Neighbor Program supports families in need with a grant applied directly to their AEP Ohio account to prevent disconnection of, or to restore their electric service. On Thursday, April 8th, 2021, the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force, assisted by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T. Team, served a narcotics related search warrant at 617 S. Scott St. Lima, Allen County, Ohio. During the search of the residence, suspected crack cocaine, a semi-automatic pistol, drug paraphernalia, and $1506.00 U.S. currency were located.
