Forest Library Benefits from Kroger Card

The Forest-Jackson Public Library is benefiting from families that have linked their Kroger card.   According to information from the library's Facebook page, 41 families have added the library to the store card, meaning every time they shop at Kroger, a portion of the sale goes to the library.   The library will be receiving a check for just over $200 generated in the last quarter.

HN FCCLA Serving Community Soup Meal

The Hardin Northern FCCLA will present a Community Soup Meal on Tuesday February 19.   The meal will be served from 5 until 7 that evening during the High School Parent Teacher Conferences.   A variety of soups will be available, along with homemade jellies, brownies, lemonade and coffee.

RICHMOND, Va. — Dominion Energy (NYSE:D) announced today an historic, industry-leading initiative to reduce methane emissions from its natural gas infrastructure by 50 percent over the next decade, based on 2010 levels. The Kenton Lady Cats defeated River Valley Tuesday night in overtime by a score of 57-56. The Cats were led by Caitlin Tudor with 15 points while Lindsey Smith finished with 14 points. River Valley was led by Ally Johnson 21 points while Madi Lott had 8 points.

Mansfield Abduction Suspect and Victim Located

COLUMBUS - The suspect and victim in yesterday’s abduction from the Ohio State University Mansfield campus have been located in Kentucky. Yesterday morning at approximately 11:45 a.m., the Patrol was notified of an abduction at gunpoint of an OSU student from the Mansfield campus. A jury trial scheduled for Wednesday February 13 in the General Division of Hardin County Common Pleas Court has been cancelled. Prospective jurors do not have to appear. The Court is having trouble with the jury hotline, which is hindering its ability to contact the jurors.

Kenton High School Coed Varsity Wrestling beat Shawnee High School 27-26. The Kenton Wildcat grapplers edge out the Shawnee Indians 27-26 Monday night in WBL action. Josh Hart (126) pulled out a last minute pin fall over Krieshna Nongkham.
