Ronald E. Milligan age 75, of Upper Sandusky died at Wyandot Memorial Hospital on Sun. Feb. 3, 2019. He was born Mar. 8, 1943 in Columbus to the late Gerald and Winona (Long) Milligan. He married Connie L. Penwell Mundy, and she survives in Upper Sandusky. Led by Faith Jenkins' 27 points, the Ridgemont girls basketball team posted its seventh straight win, rallying from a 10-point deficit to nip Kenton 52-48 Tuesday. The Golden Gophers (10-8) got another 11 points from Shaylee McGrath while Nadia Martino added seven points. The Lady Wildcats (3-14) got 12 points from Sidney Plott and 10 points apiece from Lindsey Smith and Hannah Holland, with Jenna Manns added eight markers.
A big change could be coming for the Pay as You Throw program in Kenton. Residents in Kenton have been mailed a survey asking if they would be in favor of replacing the Kenton trash bags with a 96 gallon wheeled container for trash and 64 gallon container for recyclables. A DeGraff man has been arrested and is facing rape charges. WPKO Radio reported that 23 year old Israel Gregg is accused of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13. He was arrested by Logan County Sheriff's deputies Monday afternoon and charged with 3 counts of rape. The alleged incidents occurred in 2018. The incident remains under investigation.

The Kenton High School has announced that the date of the final home boys basketball game versus Upper Scioto Valley has been pushed up to Thursday, February 21st instead of Saturday the 23rd.
