Numerous Vehicles Broken into in Logan County

Multiple vehicles have been broken into throughout Logan County over the past few days. Thefts occurred to vehicles that were unlocked and had items in plain sight.  If you have any information or camera footage that may be of assistance, contact the office at (937) 592- 5731.   Residents are advised to not leave items of value in plain view, do not leave doors unlocked and keys in the vehicle.

Governor DeWine Announces $16.7 Million for H2Ohio Water Infrastructure Projects

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency announced that more than $16.7 million has been awarded for 14 infrastructure projects across the state.  The grants are being awarded as part of H2Ohio, an initiative to improve Ohio’s water quality and provide increased access to clean, reliable drinking water. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Higher Education, announced the official launch of the Governor’s Merit Scholarship Program. The Forest-Jackson Public Library continues to accept bids for its online basket auction. There are 60 baskets that were donated by area businesses. Online bids will be accepted now until 11:59pm Friday December 8. Only onsite bids will be accepted on Saturday December 9. Kenton Man Arrested on Domestic Violence Charge

Christopher Washburn A man was arrested following a domestic disturbance in Kenton Sunday morning. According to information on the Kenton Police Department's Daily Log Sheet, officers were dispatched to Forest Court Apartments at just before nine Sunday morning after receiving a report about a domestic dispute at the complex. 24 year old Christopher Washburn was arrested at the scene. He is being held on a charge of domestic violence.
