LPD Announces the Passing of Retired K9 Diego

The Lima Police Department announced the passing of retired K9 Diego. In a post on the department's Facebook page, it was noted that Diego served as a loyal and dedicated partner of Patrolman Amy Glanemann, the first female handler ever at the Lima Police Department.   Diego was responsible for several apprehensions and removal of large amounts of drugs from the streets of Lima and surrounding communities, as well as countless community related interactions.

Woman Arrested on Warrant Wednesday Evening

A Kenton woman was arrested on a warrant Wednesday evening.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of West North Street in reference to a noise complaint.   Several people were sitting on the porch outside, including 49 year old Cassandra McDowell who had an active warrant through the Kenton Police Department.   McDowell was taken into custody and transported to the Multi-County Jail in Marion.

Bellefontaine Man Charged with Disorderly Conduct

A Bellefontaine man was charged following a disturbance Wednesday night.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Mill Street to investigate a report of a fight.   34 year old Philip Wallace was arrested and transported to the police department.   He was released later after being issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

COLUMBUS, OHIO (May 29, 2019) – The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) today granted temporary regulatory relief from the hours-of-service requirements for drivers operating commercial motor vehicles transporting motor vehicle fuel within the state of Ohio.
