The West Liberty-Salem School shooter is appealing his sentence. The Springfield News-Sun reported that lawyers for Eli Serna have appealed the teenagers 23 year sentence saying that the judge erred when he gave the maximum sentence to the then 17 year old. Traffic Stop Leads to Possible Drug Charges

A Kenton man is facing drug charges after a routine traffic stop was conducted Monday evening. According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers stopped a car in the 400 block of South Wayne Street. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, and a passenger was found to be in possession of drugs. A driver escaped serious injuries in a crash that occurred Monday night on I-75 in Hancock County. WFIN Radio reported that 28 year old Juli Allenbaugh, of Van Wert, lost control of her vehicle while driving north on 75.
