Elementary students at Upper Scioto Valley participated in fire safety week.  On Thursday, fire departments and EMS squads from throughout the district visited the school to provide instructions to the students. The instructions were designed to keep the students safe in case of an emergency.

HCRTA Luncheon Meeting on Oct. 20 at the Elks

Kenton Man Being Held on Domestic Violence Charge

Ryan Treen A Kenton man was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported to the Kenton Police Department Wednesday evening. According to information on the police department's Daily Log Sheet, officers were dispatched to an apartment at 1037 South Main Street at around 6:40pm. After investigating, Ryan Treen was arrested. He is being held on a charge of domestic violence.

Riverdale Holding Middle School Dance on Oct 27

The Riverdale Middle School dance has been scheduled for Friday October 27th from 6 to 8pm.   The cost is $5 per student.  Tickets will be on sale starting Monday, October 16 and will end on the day of the dance.
