Hancock County Residents Receiving Scam Phone Calls

Over the past several days, the Hancock County Sheriff's Office has been getting reports from the public concerning phone calls they have received.  Someone is calling homes pretending to be from the Sheriff's Office. The caller is trying to get information from residents.  The Hancock County Sheriff's Office is not making these calls.  Authorities say that this is a scam, and you should not give out any information.

Ohio EMA Announces Money for Areas Impacted by Severe Storms in 2022

The Ohio Emergency Management Agency announced third round reimbursements of over $850,000 from the State Disaster Relief Program for areas statewide impacted by severe storms last year. In our region, the Logan County Engineer's Office received just over $19,500. The area was affected by winds of 60 to 70 miles an hour in a storm that blew through in June of last year.
