Today marks the anniversary of the disappearance of Patricia "Patti" Adkins in Marysville in 2001. She was last seen at the Honda plant at the end of the second shift and was wearing her white Honda uniform. Forest Municipal Building Experiencing Phone Issues

The Municipal Building in Forest is experiencing phone issues that affect the office, Police Department, and Fire EMS non emergency lines.   Officials are working with Frontier to get the repairs made.   If you have an emergency, call 911 or the sheriff office directly at 419-673-1268 and they will dispatch.   The office is open from 8 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday.

The Hardin County Fair is looking to fill a part time, seasonal position in the fair office.   This will be for the month of August through the week of the fair.  You must be able to work a computer.  Apply in person at the fair secretary’s office Wednesday and Fridays from 9am to 4pm.   The office will be closed the week of July 4th.

The United Way of Hardin County has announced the date for the Annual Campaign Kick-Off. It will be held on Friday August 4 at the Mid-Ohio Energy Building. Breakfast will be provided starting at 7:30 that morning. The program will conclude by 9am. Everyone is invited to attend and learn more about the 2023-24 campaign.
