The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance featured France Lake and Saulisberry Park Campground in its Tourism Spotlight. The Alliance noted that the almost 200 acres provide the perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway. Lake activities include fishing, boating, and kayaking, and new this year is a kayak launcher. The Ohio Department of Transportation District 1 is seeking public comments regarding several proposed projects around the region. One of those is for signal replacements in the village of Arlington. ODOT is proposing to replace the signal at U.S. 68 and Liberty Street in the village. COLUMBUS – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is reporting 22 crashes resulting in 23 deaths on Ohio’s roadways during the 2023 Memorial Day weekend according to provisional statistics.
