A barn fire occurred this morning in the 16,000 block of State Route 292. According to information from the Kenton Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched at around 6:40 to the property owned by Rickie Stephens. Kenton City School Superintendent Chad Thrush notified parents about an incident at the Kenton High School Wednesday afternoon. Through ParentSquare, Thrush stated that the high school principal found an Educational Service Center contracted employee unresponsive in the building.  The school health clinic responded quickly to the medical emergency, and the ESC employee was transported to the hospital.  As of Wednesday evening, Thrush said the ESC employee was in stable condition. Ada Exempted Village Schools will be holding a community meeting on Monday, March 6. It will go from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the school auditorium.   The purpose of the meeting is to provide information regarding athletic conference membership.  There will be an opportunity for public comments and a time for the public to ask questions.
