Deadline for Sheep Improvement Association Scholarship is Friday

The deadline to apply for the Hardin County Sheep Improvement Association Scholarship is this Friday.  Applications must be turned in by 4:30 Friday afternoon at the Hardin County Extension Office.  The applications are also due online on Friday for the 2023 Lamb and Wool Ambassador.  Application links for both ambassador and scholarships can be found on the Ohio State- Hardin County 4-H Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/hardinco4h

ACSO Cadet Program Still Accepting Applications

Applications are still being accepted for the Allen County Sheriff's Office new Cadet Program.  The program will provide the costs of tuition and equipment for up to five cadets to attend Rhodes State College’s Basic Police Academy.  These cadets will also receive full-time medical benefits and pay while enrolled in the academy.  After graduation and obtaining certification, they will be hired as full time Allen County Sheriff's deputies. Homicide Victim’s Brother Arrested

Dana Breidenbach The investigation into the death of a Wyandot County man has resulted in the arrest of his brother. Hardin County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a rural Forest home Thursday morning following a 9-1-1 transfer call from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, reporting a death at the residence.
