Stuff the Bus for HN Kids a Big Success

Hardin Northern school officials thanked St. John Lutheran Church for organizing the "Stuff the Bus for HN Kids."  They also recognized the Hardin Northern community for their generosity.   Hundreds of school supplies were collected and will help so many families.   All supplies are at the school and Hardin Northern families are invited to come out and get the supplies their child will need this school year.

Search Warrant Served at Lima Residence; Two Arrested

The West Central Ohio Crime Task Force, assisted by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T. Team, served a narcotics related search warrant at a residence in Lima on Wednesday. According to a release, the warrant was served at 1436 West High Street in Lima. Two Arrested After Domestic Disturbance in Kenton Wednesday Night

A domestic violence incident was reported to Kenton Police at just before ten Wednesday night. According to the report, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of North Main Street. After investigating, Vivian Nalls was arrested on a charge of domestic violence. Also arrested was Darrrl Nalls on a warrant through the Hardin County Sheriff's Office. There were no injuries as a result of the incident.

Farmers and Merchants Picnic in Ada Saturday

The 109th Farmers and Merchants Picnic will take place this Saturday August 13 at Ada War Memorial Park. A parade will get things started at 9:30 Saturday morning on West Lincoln Street to Main Street to the park. A flag raising ceremony will be held at 10:30. Free Lunches for All HN Students Through September 2022

Hardin Northern lunch prices for the 2022-2023 school year have been established. All Hardin Northern students will receive free lunch through September. Starting in October, the district will revert back to the free or reduced application or certification. If parents are interested in maintaining  free or reduced status for the new school year, an application needs to be completed and submitted before the end of September. Hardin Memorial Hospital will hold a Diabetes Support Group meeting on Wednesday, August 17 beginning at 2 PM in the McCullough Conference Room.
