The gardens feature annual beds, butterfly garden, herb garden, rain garden and many other gardens and plants. It is a great learning experience for all ages. The Friendship Gardens of Hardin County are located at 960 Kohler Street in Kenton. They are open from dawn to dusk.

The Bellefontaine Police Department is closing in on its National Night Out event. It will be held Tuesday, August 2nd from 6:00-8:00 PM at Brown Park. The event is free and will include food, music, games, and interaction with Bellefontaine Police Department staff.
