Alger First United Methodist Church is serving monthly meals at the Community Outreach Center in the village. The June meal will be served from 4:30 until 6pm on Wednesday June 29. On the menu are hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, chips and ice cream. You can dine in or carry out, and there is no charge. Delivery is available by calling 419-204-7910.

According to a release from the Hardin County Task Force, the search resulted in the seizure og 6 firearms and ammunition, unmarked pills, 59.1 grams of crystal-like substance, 21.77 grams of a brown substance, $910 cash and drug abuse instruments. According to the report, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 600 block of Robinson Avenue. The incident involved a boyfriend and girlfriend at the residence. Ohio's Broadband and Cable Association will hold its inaugural Champion of Broadband Award Ceremony next week in Ada. The ceremony will honor Ohio Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted. The award has been established to recognize Ohioans who are leading advocates of broadband connectivity in the state.
