Kenton Pool Hosting Teen Pool Party this Evening

This year's first Teen Night, Pool Party is scheduled this evening at the Kenton Pool. It will take place from 7-9:30pm. The admission price is $2. It is for students entering their freshman to senior years. There will be free pizza, a live DJ who will mix some music while you swim.   Some fun contest games will also be featured.

Morral Couple Killed in Wyandot County Motorcycle Accident

A motorcycle accident at around 11:40 this past Saturday night in Wyandot County claimed the life of a Morral couple. According to a release from the Bucyrus Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 61 year old Robert Schrake Jr. was operating the motorcycle south on US 23 and struck a deer that entered the road. An injury crash was reported to the Kenton Police Department Sunday evening. The crash occurred at around 6:30pm at the intersection of East Franklin and South High Streets. Vandalism Incidents on the Increase in Forest

Multiple vandalism incidents have been reported to the Forest Police Department. According to the Village Gazette, new damages have occurred at the splash pad located at Gormley Park in the village. There have also been reports concerning destruction of landscaping and private property. If anyone has information about the incidents, they are encouraged to report it to the Forest Police Department or Hardin County Sheriff's Office.

Average Gas Price Slips Below $5 a Gallon

The average price for a gallon of gas in Hardin County has fallen below $5 a gallon today. According to AAA, after peaking at $5.05 a gallon two weeks ago, the average today is $4.87 a gallon.  The lowest average price in our region is $4.67 a gallon found in Hancock County. Hardin County Fair Tickets Go on Sale July 1

Admission tickets for the 2022 Hardin County Fair go on Sale this Friday July 1st.  Again this year, tickets will be sold online only.  In an effort to create an easier customer experience, grandstand event tickets can be purchased at the same time this year.  Those tickets will also go on sale July 1st.  Tickets can be purchased online by visiting hardincountyfair.org and clicking on Tickets.
