Average Hardin County Gas Price Up Another 13 Cents

The average price for a gallon of gas in our region continues to climb.  According to AAA, the average in Hardin County today is $4.37 a gallon. That's an increase of 13 cents from last week. Kenton Man Arrested After Weekend Domestic Disturbance

Cecil Potter A man was arrested after a domestic disturbance early Sunday morning. According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 800 block of King Street to investigate the incident. Board of Elections to Conduct Official Canvass of May 3 Primary Election on Tuesday

The Hardin County Board of Elections will meet tomorrow (May 24) for the Official Canvass of the May 3 Primary Election. The meeting will start at 9 Tuesday morning in the Board of Elections office. It is located in the basement of the Hardin County Courthouse in Kenton.   In addition, the board will conduct regular business, including, approving the minutes of the May 3 Election Day meeting and approving bills.

HN Students Try Out Two Experiments

Blayne Kindle and Gio Noascono Hardin Northern fifth grade students got to be astronauts for a day. The students tried two of the experiments from the COSI Learning Lunchbox.  They made balloon rockets and launched Alka-seltzer rockets.  The Space Learning Lunchbox also has other experiments and activities that can be completed at home.  The Midwest Regional Educational Service Center made the donation to the school.
