KCS Announces Schedule for Next Week

Kenton City Schools Kindergarten and Preschool students will not be in session Monday, April 11, through Thursday the 14. That is due to Preschool/Kindergarten screening. The Kenton City Schools will not be in session Friday, April 15 and Monday, April 18 for Spring Break. Classes will resume Tuesday, April 19 for all grades.

The state testing date for Ridgemont students in grades 3 through 6 has been rescheduled. The original date was Wednesday April 6, but the school was on a two hour delay due to fog. The rescheduled date for 3-6 grade state testing at Ridgemont is Monday April 11.

Two Arrested After Separate Incidents in Kenton on Tuesday

A Kenton man was arrested after a fight was reported at Forest Court Apartments Tuesday night. According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers discovered the fight was between siblings. Seth Brown was then arrested on a charge of domestic violence.
