MCSO Switching to New Notification System

The Marion County Sheriff's Office announced that it will switch to a new public notification system effective this Friday April 01.  The new system, known as Hyper-Reach, will be replacing Nixle and is a free service to the public. 2022 Eats on the Street to Feature Multiple Live Bands

The date for the 2022 Eats on the Street event has been announced. The Kenton Historic Courthouse District announced that it will be held Saturday July 16 in downtown Kenton. In addition to numerous food trucks, new this year, multiple live bands will perform. The headliner is The Band Steele. The hours for the event on July 16 are 5 until 10pm in downtown Kenton.

Drugs, Money and Other Items Seized at Four Upper Sandusky Locations

Search warrants were served at four residential locations in Upper Sandusky this past Friday. According to a release, the Wyandot County Special Response Team served the warrants at 375 Spring, 663 South Eighth, 539 North Warpole and 528 O'Donnell in the city. KHS Administering English 2 State Test

Kenton High School will be administering the English 2 state test beginning at 8:00am tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday.  This is for all students, including KOLA students, enrolled in an English 2 class, which is the majority of the sophomore class.  Students who are testing must have their school laptops charged and ready.  Students who are not testing will be running on a 2 hour delay schedule.  KOLA students who are […]

Kenton Fishing and Boating Licenses On Sale

City of Kenton fishing and boating licenses for France Lake remain on sale. A yearly boating permit is $20, $15 for veterans. Yearly fishing permits are $10, $5 for veterans. They can be purchased on the City of Kenton website : https://cityofkenton.com/ or at the office at France Lake. The hours are Friday 1-6pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday 1-6pm.
