YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day Saturday

The Hardin County Family YMCA is hosting Healthy Kids Day tomorrow (Saturday April 20). It will be held from 11am until 1pm Saturday. Several activities promoting healthy living are being planned. There will be open swim, basketball, crafts and vendors. The event is free and open to the public. The Y is located at 918 West Franklin Street in Kenton.

Lima Woman Killed in Three Vehicle Crash in Lima Wednesday

A Lima woman was killed in a two vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday at the intersection of Sunderland Road and Spencerville Road in Lima. According to a release from the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 20 year old Felicia Higginbotham was driving north on Sunderland and failed to stop for a stop sign at Spencerville Road. Commissioners Holding Public Meeting to Discuss Closing of Hardin Hills

The Hardin County Commissioners have scheduled a public meeting regarding the closing of Hardin Hills Health Center. It will take place on Tuesday April 23. The hours are from 10 until 11:30am in Veterans Hall on the first floor of the Hardin County Courthouse in downtown Kenton. Kenton Experimenting with Voucher System for Spring Clean Up this Year

Kenton Mayor Lynn Webb explained that the city is trying something different this year for Spring Clean-Up. Forest Holding Spring Clean Up Day Saturday

The Village of Forest is holding Spring Clean Up Day for residents this Saturday, April 20. Three dumpsters will be set up from 10am until 2pm Saturday for residents to use on a first come first serve.
