Kenton Cast Iron Toy Show Set for June 6 at Hardin County Historical Museums

Hardin County Historical Museums, Inc. Hardin County Historical Museums will present the Kenton Cast Iron Toy Show on June 6. It will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at 223 North Main Street in Kenton. You will be able to buy, sell, and trade cast iron toys. It is also an opportunity for the Kenton toy collector community to network with fellow collectors. Admission to the show is free, but donations are accepted.

Ohio Records Lowest Memorial Day Weekend Traffic Fatalities in 18 Years

COLUMBUS – Provisional data from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) is reporting six traffic fatalities over the four-day Memorial Day Weekend, the lowest number in 18 years. This year’s reporting period began on Friday, May 22 and continued through Monday, May 25. During the reporting period, troopers made 16,490 traffic enforcement contacts, including 355 impaired driving arrests, 66 drug arrests and 2,090 safety belt citations.
