Hardin Northern Girls 2021 Basketball Camp a Success

The 2021 Hardin Northern Girls Basketball Camp was held June 1 - 3.   33 girls in grades kindergarten through 6 participated.   Campers worked on ball handling, passing, shooting and defensive skills.   They also played 3 on 3 games and competed in dribbling and passing relays.   The Junior High and High School girls basketball team helped in running the camp.

Motorists Encouraged to Watch for Motorcycles When Traveling

Motorists are being reminded to watch for motorcycles as you travel.  You should watch your blind spots closely, double-check your mirrors and use extra caution during left turns.  If the weather turns rainy suddenly, give riders extra space.  You should also be aware of the dangers motorcyclists face riding at night as well.

Auglaize County D.A.R.E. Hosting Golf Outing Fundraiser

The Auglaize County D.A.R.E. Program will be hosting a golf fundraiser at Northmoor Golf Course on June 27th.  All money raised will assist in drug prevention programs throughout the year. Contact Northmoor Golf Course to Register and for your tee- time. The cost $33.50 per person, which includes: a Golf Cart, 18 Holes of golf and a meal. Three Sent to Hospital After Dogs Attack in Marion

A vicious dog attack sent three people to the hospital in Marion over the weekend. According to a release, a Marion Police officer was traveling in the 400 block of Windsor Street when he observed a man with a hatchet and a woman screaming in a nearby yard.
