Two Sentenced in Common Pleas Court

Two people were sentenced recently in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to documents from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's Office: .Catherine E. Summit was sentenced to a minimum of 7 years up to a maximum of 9 years in prison on charges of aggravated vehicular assault and operating a vehicle under the influence. .Brian J. Messick was placed on five years community control on one count of trespassing. Both cases were heard by Judge Scott Barrett.

Hardin County Ag Society Releases Minutes of June Board Meeting

The Hardin County Agricultural Society met Wednesday, June 2, 2021, for their June monthly board meeting. Eleven directors and eight guests were present. The United Way of Hardin County's 2nd Annual Days of Caring is set for June 11th & 12th. Alger Library Summer Kickoff Event Being Held June 8

The Alger Public Library Summer Reading Program kickoff event will be held June 8. The program allows participants to learn, create, explore, and have fun reading all summer long.  All ages are invited to participate. One Person Seriously Injured in Roll Over crash in Kenton Tuesday Night

A roll over crash occurred this past Tuesday night in the 300 block of North Detroit Street in Kenton. According to the Kenton Police Department report, which was released Wednesday night, 67 year old Wilson J.
