Penczarski Officially Hired as Chagrin Falls School Superintendent; Leaving Kenton After 11 Years

The Kenton City Schools will be searching for a new superintendent after the Chagrin Falls School District hired Jennifer Penczarski for that position. Moderna Vaccine Offering in Alger on April 21

The Moderna vaccine will be given on Wednesday April 21, 2021 in Alger.   According to the Village of Alger Facebook page, the vaccine mobile unit from the Kenton-Hardin County Health Department will be at the Methodist Community Building at 301 North Main Street in Alger from 9:00 a.m  until noon that day.   Vaccines are free and will be given on a first come / first served basis.  If you have any questions, you can call the Health Department at 419-673-6230.

McGuffey Volunteer Fire Company Seeking Volunteer Firefighters

Children’s Museum in Findlay Adds Cruiser Exhibit

The Children's Museum in the Findlay Mall has a new cruiser exhibit. The exhibit allows children an opportunity to see the actual inside of a patrol vehicle and even allows them to operate the overhead lights. The museum thanked the Hancock County Sheriff's Office, Dick's Towing Service, and Ed's 24 Hour Service for their help in making the exhibit happen.

Marion County Judge and His Wife Sentenced

A Marion County judge and his wife were sentenced today in connection to a hit and run accident that injured a 19 year old man in June of 2020. ABC 6 in Columbus reported that Judge Jason Warner and his wife Julia Warner were each sentenced to two years in prison.
