Hardin Northern Hiring Varsity Volleyball Coach

Hardin Northern is seeking a Head Varsity Volleyball Coach for the 2021-2022 school year.  All interested candidates must submit a letter of interest, resume with coaching experience.  Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a Pupil Activity Permit through the Ohio Department of Education.  The documents should be sent to Athletic Director, Brady Mast at brady.mast@hardin northern.org

Riverdale Athletic Boosters Draw Winner of $8300 Prize Package

The Riverdale Athletic Boosters announced the winner of the New Lawn Raffle. Joe DiBacco, of Forest, was the winner in a Facebook Live drawing Tuesday evening. The prize package consisting of a Simplicity Zero Turn mower and other lawn equipment from Forney Sales and Service was valued at around $8300.  The Riverdale Athletic Boosters thanked everyone for their support especially Forney Sales and Service in Forest.

Ohio Northern University State-Sponsored COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics Impacted by Federal Government Johnson & Johnson Dose Recommendations

ADA, Ohio - Ohio Northern University’s state-sponsored COVID-19 mobile mass vaccination clinics scheduled in Hardin, Logan, Union, Marion Crawford and Wyandot counties have been paused in accordance with the State of Ohio’s action related to the CDC and FDA recommendations Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine administration. Riverdale Commencement Scheduled for May 23

Commencement ceremonies for Riverdale will occur on Sunday May 23 at 2:00pm.  This year’s ceremony will be held at the football stadium weather permitting.  More details on numbers of guests, ticketing and set up will be announced as soon as possible. A senior class car parade will occur on Saturday May 22 starting @ 2:00pm.  The parade will proceed through all three local communities in the Riverdale School District.

Carey Man Charged with Fifth OVI Offense

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers have charged a Carey man with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. It was his fifth offense.  Isaiah Hesson was arrested after being pulled over in Carey during the early morning hours of Sunday, April 11th. He appeared in the Upper Sandusky Municipal Court Monday morning.

Findlay High School Announces In-Person Graduation Plans

Findlay High School announced on Monday in-person graduation and commencement ceremony plans for the Class of 2021.  The in-person graduation ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 29th at Donnell Stadium.. Students will be able to bring a limited number of guests to attend the outdoor event.
