Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted announced the results of the July round of TechCred. 430 employers were approved for funding, providing the opportunity for Ohioans to earn 4,961 tech-focused credentials.  The program helps businesses address their workforce needs by upskilling current and prospective employees.  Businesses of all sizes, from any industry, are eligible for up to $30,000 per round and up to $180,000 per year.  Some of the top industries […]

OSP Conducting OVI Checkpoint in Marion County Friday

The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced today that an OVI checkpoint will be held in Marion County tomorrow evening. The OVI checkpoint is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers. It is funded by federal grant funds. The location of the checkpoint in Marion County will be announced Friday morning.
